Hi I'm Astilia and I am a filmmaker, writer, director, musician and actor! This page is dedicated to my writing portfolio. Here you will be able to read all about freedom of expression, advocacy and some absurdist humor! Please enjoy! :)

On this about me page you can see three photos of my fur children, Raiden and Knox. They may or not have special appearances in some of my writing! My main focus for my portfolio is to be able to have a space where I showcase my abilities as a research writer, editor, experienced blogger, and fiction author. I would also like to include some of my scripts and my vision for them as well. This website combines both my film major and writing minor into a culmination of all the work I have done and will be doing.

As the child of an immigrant, it has become one of my main passions to write in my native language of Romanian. Combining my love of writing into my native language is something where I am able to write freely about the experiences of bilingual life, complex relationships with organized religion, as well as my deeply personal relationship with death. Two of my pieces on this page reflect my experience as the child of an immigrant and growing up in a bilingual household.

Additionally, the pieces that I am writing vary from film scripts that incorporate psychological horror and absurdist comedy as well to pieces that explore the complex relationship between music and character change. My stories mostly stem from personal experiences, as well as influences from paganism, the spiritworld and the fantastical.
